Market Finds: New Vendors, Products & Fun for 2017

While everyone else was prepping for Super Bowl parties, we flew to New York for an inaugural trip to NY NOW. From the second they opened their doors on Sunday to the moment we had to rush to the airport on Tuesday afternoon, we shopped for our little shop. It did not disappoint, and we cannot wait to share our finds with you!

Here are a few of our new vendors, products and fun for 2017.

Expanded baby and kids: We have grown our collection of favorites like Bella Tunno, MilkBarn Kids, and beautifully illustrated books. We also welcomed the arrival of Manny & Simon’s handmade wooden toys, Uncle Goose’s blocks in everything from the periodic table to the Persian alphabet, nursery favorites from Petit Pehr, and Petit Collage’s eco-friendly collection of puzzles, pop-outs and other play things. And we are still expecting Eco-Kids environmentally friendly art supplies and Nobodinoz’s gorgeous fabrics adorning playroom staples like teepees and aprons.

More gifts for men: Before we even left, we re-ordered and multiplied products from Dr. Squatch and Manready Mercantile. Then we spent our Sunday morning discovering United by Blue’s “responsible, durable goods.” As much as we cannot wait to share their goods, we’re equally excited about their mission – for each product sold a pound of trash is removed from oceans and waterways. We also cannot wait for the made-in-Florida wooden beer cap maps to hit the shelves just in time for Father’s Day.
Added artists from Austin: Apparently it took a brief flight from ATX to NYC to find some amazing talent from our neighbors to the west. We are so excited to introduce sweet studs from Zoe Comings, the lovely lines of Fail Jewelry, the cheery egg planters from Rhyno Clayworks, and the wanderlust-loving field guides from Wildsam.

And this is just the half of it, literally. Stop by the store to check out all that’s new!
